What's good?
Aztec Cocoa.
SO DELICIOUS. You don't even have to be Mexican to enjoy it.
Here's a recipe for it:
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 2/3 cups milk
* 1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
* 1 red chili pepper, split with seeds removed
* 1 cinnamon stick, around 3-4"
* 1 1/2 oz chocolate (bittersweet)
PREPARATION:
Simmer milk in a saucepan with vanilla bean, cinnamon and chili. Heat through for about a minute. Whisk in grated chocolate, and continue to simmer until melted. Remove from heat and let 'steep' for another 10 minutes.
Strain out the spices and serve. Serves 2.
If you are lazy like me you can try this:

and add some Cayenne or Chili pepper to it as the spice that is automatically included isn't quite spicy enough for my tastes.
But that's me. But would Val ever tell you wrong?
Everyone say "No way!"
Good.
I talk of Hot Chocolate because Houston is suppose to have a freeze tonight and freezes make me want cocoa. Plus, cocoa is a Christmas classic.
Tomorrow we shall talk cookies.
Perhaps, I will make blogs about the top 12 things that are synonymous with Christmas/Holidays.
At least to me anyways. Then you can agree, disagree and add.
